The Battle Hymn of Africa

Africa's sun is shining above the horizon clear,
The day for us is rising, for black men far and near;
Our God is in the front line, the heav'nly batallion leads,
Onward, make your banners shine, ye men of noble deeds.

There's a flag we love so well-
The red, the black and green,
Greatest emblem tongues can tell,
The brightest ever seen.

When pandemonium breaks, the earth will tremble fast,
Nor oceans, seas nor lakes shall save the first or last;
Our suffering has been long, our cries to God ascending;
We have counted ev'ry wrong which calls for an amending.

So into battle let us go, with the Cross before;
The Angels, great, from high to low, watch forevermore;
We see the enemy scatter, and watch their ranks divide-
With God there is no fetter for whom He doth provide.

All God's children, in trouble, or burdened down with care,
No matter where, how humble, His love is ever there;
So cheerful let our courage be and rally for the King,
The Saviour, Christ, the Lord, is He, whom angels tidings bring.

Ho, Africa, victorious! See, the foe goes down!
The Christ and Simon lead us to wear the triumphant crown;
Jesus remembers dearly the sacrifice with the cross,
So raise those banners gladly-never to suffer loss!

And so the war is ending, the victor's palm is ours,
Crushed 'neath a sorry bending, like dead, fallen flowers
Thus lay the proud men of the day, all lost, forever,
Where the demons never say to God, "We'll deliver."

God In Man

0 weary son of sorrow great!
How apt art thou to bow and grieve,
And count all things thy solemn fate,
As if thou canst not self retrieve!

May I not tell the story true
Of that Eternal Force that is-
The Force that makes the world and you;
The Force that rules and ever lives?

Thou art the living force in part,
The Spirit of the Mighty 1;
The God of Heaven and your heart
Is Spirit that can never die.

You're what you are in heart and mind,
Because you will it so to be;
The man who tries himself to find,
Is light to all, and great is he.

In each and every one is God,
In everything atomic life;
There is no death beneath the sod,
This fact, not knowing, brings the strife.

Stopping By Woods

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Someone Should Start Laughing

Someone Should Start Laughing

I have a thousand brilliant lies
For the question:

How are you?

I have a thousand brilliant lies
For the question:

What is God?

If you think that the Truth can be known
From words,

If you think that the Sun and the Ocean
Can pass through that tiny opening

Called the mouth,

someone should start laughing!
Someone should start wildly Laughing now!

Shadow In the Past

I see my shadow
I see the light shining on me
it slowly disappears as it darkens behind me.

My fingers feel the keys as the words of my mind come out to the air,
as I fall in to a gaze into a stare.

Some days, I wish I could feel the past to live it
Feel the hurt to smile when I see you sometimes
I wish things could have gone differently then maybe I wouldn't

Before I am Dead

waking up drenched in sweat
Realizing it is nothing but a nightmare
I gain up to imbibe a glass of water
To drown the fear that woke me up!

Sins i have done plenty
I effect not recognise if the good i did is enough
To supply me a passage to heaven
Or worse , born again as human;

Never cared for what people thought ,
Never worried regarding those who left ,
Never a minute i spent crying over gash milk ,
What had to happen , had to happen

What i was yesterday is what i am nowadays ,
Yet people guess i have changed , i wonder why
I take life as it comes
No anticipations and no demands!

With the electrocute waiting at every step ,
Uncertainty looms extensive over tomorrow ,
I fear i destitution to live every moment
Of nowadays before i am dead

An Apologetic Gesture

apologetic gesture and earnest efforts to woo
Do or die approach with resolve to do
I find it very hard and out of it nothing to gain
It adds to tension and worries calm remain

It is not fact that i want to be aloof
But i expect the result to be full proof
Cannot afford to be plane slight careless
All my efforts are committed and in fairness

You can comment and pass informal remark
I calm go ahead and ventures embark
Whatever can be result or outcome?
I shall unwavering and offer the welcome

What perform we penury in our general dealing?
Gentle and mild touch with plane healing
Book pages always artless & nothing to conceal
Highest regards plane when secrets to reveal

Why are we disliked in general?
Is it our approach or bad moral?
Even water tests candy provided it is recent mineral
Sweet words seemingly please others and perform the miracle

We offer floral tribute on somebody's death
Shed the teats with feelings and lay the wreath
Is it not senseless to say bitter words and damage
We stipend esteem by paying good homage

These are not mere book words or advice
Neither they are mechanical nor whatsoever device
It is practiced in good faith and in general pattern
Finding correct path plane with the dim light of lantern

No one can love the way as suggested
Minds are bogged down with traffic congested
Nothing goes normal as ground not tested
Bad ideas get momentum and good ideas arrested

We can eschew flawlessly some things in public
We can not sight whatsoever reason specific
It has to be in keeping with tradition
It can't be spelled out with whatsoever condition

I can possess solid reasons to go for it
I can apologize and humbly submit
I can't perform or remedy the thing undone
Only way artless for us is to forget and pardon

To forgive with grace is considered a extensive gesture
Relation is built by keeping in peek bright future
It can add to existing relation with sweetness
Strong bond of friendship with complete openness

It is necessary to plant the seeds in advance
Future can plead of it when you seemingly glance
Tree can not come up in one day or grow
Its process volition be gradual and seemingly slow

We volition witness the miracle of apologetic gesture
Person can be induced to possess good ideas or nurture
It has got order mien on our conduct and relation
Its outcome can be signal of good indication

Barack Obama

God Created This Man
Why Hate Him?
It's A Leap To Have A President
With Roots That Are Tied To Both Black & White People.
All The Madness We Have Been Through
Let's Accept The Change. To Look At The President
As A Savior From All Your Problems Is Foolish. If Money Was Saved During A Large Reaping Harvest,
A So-Called Recession Wouldn't Affect You.
Frivolous Spending Leads 2 Being Poor.
Don't Look Up To Man Like They Have It All.
You Have It All & The World Will See It.
Keep Working At It.

You Never Know When Your Opportunity Will Come.
In The Year 2000 We Weren't Thinking About A Black/White President.
So 10 Years From Now Who Knows What Will Happen.
Embrace The Impossible.
Embrace The Change To Come.

An act of positive thinking

Positive thinking
Though is not life
Is the means by which we live.
Though soft and weak water like
It wears away hardest heart rock-

The strongest sense foe. It
Even outdoes water whose
Origin remains sensuality and desire,
And rises no higher than air. His,
Has access to a heaven of vision.

Phenomenal Woman

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It's the fire in my eyes,
And the flash

of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.
I say,
It's in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman

Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
